Who writes this

I’m Jaime Novillo Benito. I studied a Higher Technician Diploma in Multiplatform Application Development (DAM, a Spanish vocational qualification) and, out of curiosity, tried an artificial intelligence course. I liked it so much that I saw it was exactly what I needed to build the projects I really care about, so I went on to a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. I’m now an intern at Crédit Agricole CIB, where I’ll be working on AI.

I make this site mainly to learn: what I understand by writing an article, I then take into my own projects and, when I can, into my work.

Why the site exists

I write science and tech notes to understand things myself, and turn them into lessons anyone can follow, whether they’re starting from zero or from university. Every lesson is explained three times (♣ Newbie, ♦ Intermediate and ♠ Technical) so nobody gets left out or bored. There’s more on the blog, in “Why does King of Dumbs exist?”.

The jester

The jester is my alter ego: a king of fools who laughs at himself, never at whoever’s asking. One eye is a circle, the other a cross, and there are too many teeth. The current design is provisional while I finish the final one.

Background

What I write here is my own and doesn’t represent Crédit Agricole CIB.

Where to find me

How I work

  • Every figure has a dated source, or is marked as unverified.
  • I use Claude, an AI, to organize notes, draft and translate. I answer for everything published: if you spot a mistake, write to me and I’ll fix it.
  • If you spot a mistake, write to me via contact. I’ll fix it and note the change.
